John C. Meyers, MA, CRC

John has been providing vocational rehabilitation consulting services since 1980. John has testified over 200 times in Superior Court in family law, employment law and personal injury cases.  John has been designated as the court’s 730 expert over 200 times, and has completed thousands of evaluations over his long career.

As a contract expert for the Social Security Administration since the 1990s, John has acted as a vocational expert in thousands of hearings.

Long term disability insurance carriers, plaintiff’s attorneys and defense attorneys hire John to perform labor market research and transferable skills analyses in connection with long term disability claims.

In the workers’ compensation arena, John has completed thousands of earning capacity evaluations within the context of ever changing laws regarding the evidence which must be considered in workers’ compensation cases.

For over 41 years, John has been helping individuals with career choices and facilitating job placement success.

John currently focuses his practice on employment law evaluations, pediatric injury evaluations, workers’ compensation permanent disability evaluations, pediatric personal injury evaluations, and catastrophic personal injury evaluations.

Aaron N. Meyers, Office Manager

Aaron began working for Meyers Vocational Consulting Services in high school as a typist.  He went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from San Diego State University in 2009.  After graduating from SDSU, Aaron re-joined the firm in 2009.  He has delivered superior customer service in his primary function as the Office Manager and Operation Specialist.  Aaron became an owner and partner of Meyers Vocational Consulting Services in 2022.

Christopher J. Meyers, MRC, CRC, CLCP

Since 2012, has provided vocational evaluation, job counseling, and job placement services to individuals with and without physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities.

Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP)

Has served as a vocational expert in thousands of litigated cases in multiple settings including workers’ compensation, personal injury, medical malpractice, employment litigation, family law, and long term disability.  In the workers’ compensation venue, has in-depth knowledge and experience evaluating vocationally relevant issues within the context of current case law including LeBoeuf, Ogilvie, Dahl, and others.  In the family law venue, has in-depth knowledge and experience evaluating vocational rehabilitation issues within the context of Family Code 4331 factors.

Has been sworn in and accepted as a vocational expert and life care planning expert in personal injury, family law, and employment law cases in multiple counties in the Superior Court for the State of California.  Has been appointed and accepted as the Court’s 730 expert in Ventura County on numerous occasions.

Program Director of the firm’s federal contract with the Social Security Administration’s Ticket-to-Work Program since 2016.

Federally contracted impartial vocational expert witness for the Social Security Administration since 2015.  In this capacity, provides impartial vocational expert testimony in hundreds of federal administrative law hearings regarding an individual’s transferable job skills and employment options.

Evaluated cases throughout the United States including California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Kansas, Georgia and Michigan.

Regularly contracted by local government organizations, law firms and private employers to complete job analyses to investigate the physical, cognitive and environmental demands of jobs within the economy.

In 2022, became the owner/managing partner of Meyers Vocational Consulting Services, LLC.
